Thank you for your support. 

The Purpose of the Friends of the St. Ignace Public Library is to furnish public support to the library staff and Board of Trustees in many areas such as raising money for the acquisition of materials and equipment, developing particular collections, sponsoring and participating in other projects such as reading and supplying volunteers for routine needs of the library. 

Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in aiding the further development of the St. Ignace Public Library.

In  2009 the Saint Ignace Friends Group purchased many items for the library.  

They raise their funds through memberships, used book sales, bake sales, special functions, and the annual Spring silent auction.

Recent 2010 Summer Expenditures: computer headphones and Story Time and movie snacks, A special Bat program for younger patrons of the library, and the libraries' annual movie license.

Upcoming 2010-2011 Requested Expenditures:  Computers (in-kind match),   Brodart CD books subscription, Magazines, Landscape Maintenance (end of season),  DVDs  (movie nights), and New Adult Fiction and New  Nonfiction.
