The Spies Public Library will hold it's first Teen Library Council meeting of the school year on Tuesday, September 16,  at 7:00 P.M. at the library.  Eligible teens (age 12-18) meet once a month to help in the selection of specific materials related to teens, generate ideas for programs, suggest ideas for the library's web page, and assist at other library programs.  Teens can also receive letters of recommendation from library staff for their involvement.  Free refreshments are served at all Spies Library Teen Council meetings.  For more information call the library at 863-3911.
