Wednesday, October 31:  Come visit us in our new space on the lower level!

The Library is very excited about the facility improvements taking place this year.  Not only will the leaks be fixed, but the Youth Services will have its own dedicated programming space.  While the work is underway, the Youth Services Department has temporarily resided in the Westwood Mall.  Since May, the entire lower level has been closed for renovations, but our new space is almost ready for us.

Note these important dates:

  • October 19:  last day Branch is open to visitors.
  • October 20-30: No Children’s services as we pack up the Branch and prepare our newly configured space.
  • October 26: Peter White Library is closed for moving day
  • October 31: Visit us on the lower level!  We’ll have treats for trick-or-treaters!

Other things to know:

  • Programming for the high school and junior high ages proceeds as normal at PWPL.
  • Even after we close the Branch at the Mall, the book return will remain.
  • New and Halloween Children’s items will be available for check-out on the main level during the October 20-30 Children’s Department closure.
