Special Exhibit, special programs!

Introduction | Special programming| Exhibit components

From August 17-October 11, Peter White Library Youth Services Department will host Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference, an exciting, interactive display, on loan from the STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net).  The display consists of upright information panels, a hands-on maker table, and a computer kiosk.

We’re planning a Grand Opening Event for August 30 from 6-8:00 pm (see poster). Throughout the display period, adults are invited to visit the Youth Services Department and walk through the display.  Several programs for both kids and adults, will be presented by library staff, community organizations, and local experts. Many of these programs will highlight how engineering and technology directly impact our lives here in Marquette. All programs will be free and open to the public. The schedule will be available on our online calendar and on this web page, as it becomes available.
