Volunteers

As a volunteer at the Peter White Public Library, you can make a difference in your own life and in our community. The following volunteer is open at this time:

The PWPL Literacy Project is looking for volunteer literacy tutors. The Peter White Public Library offers a free program for adults in the community who wish to improve their reading skills. In this program tutors work one-on-one with learners twice a week over six months, helping them master the skills they need. If you would like to volunteer as a literacy tutor,
please call the PWPL Literacy Project at 226-4311 today!

If you want to gain skills and work experience as  a Volunteer Literacy Tutor,  please, read the Volunteer Policy and download a Volunteer Application Form. Return the form to the Reference Desk on the upper level of the library.

Another opportunity to make a difference is to join the Friends of the Peter White Public Library.
