Administration @ PWPL

The Administration of the Peter White Public Library is an assemblage of a five-member Board of Trustees, Library Director, Development Fund Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, IT Coordinator, Programming Coordinator, Website Coordinator, and Finance Director. A Township Advisory Council also exists to represent the area townships that are part of the PWPL's service area.

Library Board of Trustees

The Library's Board of Trustees meets the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00 P.M. at the Peter White Public Library. Members of the Library's governing board are appointed by the Marquette City Commission to serve a five (5) year term. A member may serve for a maximum of two terms, or a total of ten (10) years, on the Board. The five-member board elects officers amongst itself.

Township Advisory Council

The Township Advisory Council of the Peter White Public Library meets on the first Wednesday of March, June, September and December in the Shiras Room at the Peter White Public Library. Meetings are held at 7:00 pm.  
All meetings are open to the public.  Questions about the meeting schedule or agenda can be directed to the Administrative Assistant, at 906-228-7434 or via e-mail.
