Food for Fines and Gift of Reading: this month, the library will serve as a drop-off point for both the TV6 Canathon and the Marquette Alger Reading Association's Gift of Reading programs. Each non-perishable food item brought in is worth a free video rental or $1.00 in library overdue fines. New or gently-used children's book donations will be distributed locally.
InterLibrary Lending: Our statewide interlibrary resource sharing program through MelCat will be suspend from Nov. 18-Dec. 11, 2016 while the network servers are moved to a new location. Meanwhile, our regional Upper Peninsula program will still be fully functional. Contact the Reference Desk at 226-4311 if you have questions and for assistance in finding materials.
Winter Wonderland Walk: Winter Wonderland tree registration is now open. Advance registration should be made by Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
DearReader discontinued: As of October 15, New Book Alerts will no longer come to your e-mail if you've subscribed to that service. You can still find out about new titles as soon as they are added to the collection by following the links under "Browse These Collections" on the lower right side of our Online Catalog.
