Heart Rate Variability and Biofeedback

The Portage Lake District Library will host a presentation on heart rate variability, biofeedback, and other ways to reduce stress and trauma on Tuesday, December 11 at 6:30pm. This program will be presented by Richard Featherly.

Participants will learn how heart rate variability can be used to reduce stress and trauma, and how stress and trauma affect our bodies, emotions and behaviors.  The presentation will also discuss methods used to reduce stress and trauma that individuals can do on their own or with a therapist.
