Kids ages 3 – 12 are invited to drop in anytime between 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month throughout the school year for stories, crafts, fun activities, and more. Each week there will be several different crafts to choose from, and kids can decide which ones and how many they want to make.

In each class, you will learn how to use these plant-based medicines as well as learn the science behind them, their common uses and health benefits, and more. Each class will also focus on a different topic. This class will he held in the community room.

The public is invited to knit, crochet, spin, or bring a hand craft and enjoy good company and conversations. All levels of skill are welcome. Meet at the back table unless otherwise noted.

Three gentle dogs will be available every Wednesday for kids to read aloud to. These dogs are trained and registered with Therapy Dogs International and Superiorland Pet Partners. Children can gain confidence and build reading skills by reading at their own pace to a very loving, non-judgemental, and attentive listener.

LWV Copper Country will present on the Constitutional Convention Movement, a nationwide initiative, including Michigan. The LWVUS opposes a call for a Constitutional Convention, because the League believes it is a threat to every American's constitutional rights and liberties.

Falling in Love with Daylilies—Joanne has indulged her infatuation with daylilies for over 18 years, evident in the impressive daylily display in her Laurium garden. As a member of both the American Hemerocallis Society and the Bay Area Daylily Buds (of Green Bay), she has expanded her expertise to include hybridizing. Duffy, a plant expert in her own right, will assist, drawing upon experience working at and growing exotics from Dennis Greenhouse in Lake Linden.
