UP Oilers Presents Spring Series of Essential Oils Classes

The Portage Lake District Library will host a series of essential oil classes presented by Gladys Anderson and her daughter Karissa Anderson of UP Oilers.
The classes are as follows:
Wednesday, April 18, 6:30 p.m.
Essential Oils of Ancient Times
Participants will learn the history of essential oils as they were used in ancient Egypt, China, India and Greece as well as how they were used during Biblical times. They will also explore the uses and benefits of these same oils in modern times.
Thursday, April 26, 6:30 p.m.
Spring Cleaning with Essential Oils
Participants will learn how to make inexpensive household cleaning supplies using essential oils. Recipes will be available.
Saturday, April 28, 1:00 p.m.
Strengthening Your Well Being
Participants will learn how to use essential oils safely in order to support their body in many ways including reaching goals and helping with focus.
Thursday, May 3, 6:30 p.m.
Participants will learn how to combine essential oils with natural products to support women’s bodies with an emphasis on supporting women’s unique hormone systems. The discussion will include pairing essential oils with nutritional supplements.
