Searching for Ancestors? - AlgerRoots meets in Library---Alger Roots, a newly formed Geneological group is meeting each last Wednesday at 10:30 am in the Public Library. The group is comprised of many resourceful individuals, who are coming together to share their talents, and provide an avenue to learn more of the History and Families in the Alger County Area, and make information more readily available. Using Family Search to search for Ancestors usually gets results. There are many sites that have records, but Family Search is free. If you are inside the Library, you can use Ancestry.com free to search for your Family tree. Also check out our other links to genealogical research pages on the Internet by visiting the Geneological links Page which is being updated on a regular basis.
