Benefits of Trees and Tree Identification Walk
Tuesday, July 19 at 11:00am at Al Quaal Lodge and Recreational Area
Join a Marquette Conservation District Forester for a presentation on the uses of trees in a survival situation, plus a hike and hands-on ID of our native trees. All ages welcome, intended for 12 and up.

Bring your word stones in the farm and arrange them in various places around the site while touring the farm and snacking on fresh garden snacks. Ages 5 and up.

Join us for a discussion of Marty McGuire Digs Worms! by Kate Messner. The story follows Marty  and her third grade class after they are given an assignment called "Save the Earth!" in which the best project will receive a special award. Copies are available at the library. Ages 5-10.
 
Tween Book Club
Thursday, August 4 at 1:00pm
Join us for a book party celebrating Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein. This book follows lucky Kyle after he is selected to stay at the new town library for overnight fun. When morning comes, the doors remain locked and he must uncover clues and solve puzzles to find the hidden escape route. Copies are available at the library. Ages 10-14.
