2019 Summer Reading Program Details

Our Summer Reading Program ~ A Universe of Stories will run for six weeks beginning Monday, June 17th and ending Monday, July 29th. Monday, July 29th will be the last day to claim rewards and enter prize drawings. Summer Reading registration will end on Friday, July 19th.

Sign up begins the first day of the program. Children birth through middle school will receive a book bag with a reading time log, bookmark and other goodies- just for joining!

Earning prizes is easy. Read for ten periods of 15 minutes each, get a reward, and put your name in for that week’s prize drawing. You can earn two rewards each week, but keep going because there is no limit to the number of times you can put your name in for the prize drawings. Rewards include free books & ice cream. We need to see your log in order to claim weekly rewards.

We’ll call you if you win one of the weekly drawings.

Adults & Teens have a program too. For every book you read (or listen to), you can put your name in the prize drawings. We will draw for prizes on Tuesday, July 30th.

See our Summer Reading Calendar of Events, our website or Facebook page for all programming details. You will find a calendar in your Summer Reading bag when you sign up. They are also available at the Circulation Desk.

We can’t wait to read with you this summer!
