Library Board Vacancy

The Forsyth Township Public Library and its board of trustees are seeking a new board member to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Elizabeth Robbins. If you are interested, please submit a Letter of Interest at the library no later than Wednesday, October 4th at 7:00 p.m.

Library Board Trustee responsibilities are:

Attend all board meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 3:30 p.m.

Participate at the meetings.

Be a team player.

Support board decisions.

Advocate for the library.

Respect the role of the library director.

Support the library director.

The term ends November 2020. This is a great opportunity to serve the library and its community.

Applicants are invited to attend the board meeting on Tuesday, October 10th at 3:30 p.m. at the library.

All "DRESSed" Up ~ 3rd Annual Tea Party

It’s that time of year again. Our Fundraising Friends are hosting their third annual Tea Party on Saturday, October 14th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Gwinn Clubhouse. This year’s theme is Prom Dresses. Hannah’s Tea Time will be there with fabulous teas. The food is always amazing. You will be entertained with a Prom Dress fashion show and have the chance to win prizes.

A $20.00 donation will get you a ticket to this great event. Tickets are now available at the library and from committee members. Don’t wait. Get your tickets before they are gone! Call the library at 346-3433 for more information.

Pre-orders will be taken for the library cookbook as well. They will make perfect holiday gifts for your family & friends. The first 48 sold will also get a “Duck-for-a-Buck” recipe card holder.
