U.P. Poet Laureate

Join us on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. for a gathering of U.P. poets laureate top 5 finalists reading from the new anthology, Undocumented: Great Lakes Poets Laureate on Social Justice and from their own works.

The book is organized around themes from the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Ten Ways to Fight Hate: A Community Response Guide,” calling on readers to act on behalf of victims of social injustice.

The evening of poetry and insight features U.P. Poet Laureate 2017-2020 Marty Achatz along with Sally Brunk and Margaret Noodin.

Gather with other writers from the area once a month as we discuss our current projects, give tips, and help each other grow as artists. Lego Club

LEGO Club welcomes all children (and their parents) who love LEGOS, a sense of adventure, and being creative! Occurring on every 2nd Saturday of the month, we will explore different themes each month.  

This month’s theme is Wild, Wild West

Please bring a box or bag of LEGOS for your child to use.
At the end of each LEGO club there will be a drawing for prizes!
