Friends of Bayliss
Friends of Bayliss Public Library is an organization interested in the
growth and development of Bayliss Public Library. Its purpose is to
maintain an association of people interested in books, information and

fundraising events include a Sweets Sale at Valentine’s Day, a
Used Book Sale in early August, and a Silent Auction now held in
mid-October. We’ve also held special fundraisers, like a puppet

donations over the years have helped purchase large print books, videos
for the visually impaired, lobby furniture, silk plants and trees,
out-of-town newspaper subscriptions, audio books and display racks, new
reference books, a public access computer and workstation, an
information kiosk, and refreshments for guest speaker events.
The Friends of the Library publishes a periodic newsletter. Members
receive their copies by mail, and the newsletter is also available at
the Circulation Desk.
