Library Catalog
One Library Catalog computer workstation is located in the Children's Room. Children and their parents may use this computer to locate library materials. Additional Catalog workstations are located in the Adult Room. See the Catalog section of this website for more information about using the catalog.

Parents will find it useful to make note of their child’s library barcode number in order to place holds or check their account. (The PIN number is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number.) To check when books are due or to renew books, go to 'Search the Catalog' and click on My Account. For more information about using your account, go to My Account.

Children's Room Computers
There are three computers reserved for children’s use in the Children’s Room. Two have limited Internet access and one has games only, The librarian has the CD-ROMs and will start the games for the child. There is a 30-minute limit if other children are waiting. If no one is waiting, there is no time limit.

Internet
There are two computers in the Children's Room with limited Internet access.

Children under the age of 10 may use the Internet computers in the Adult Room if they have a parent or guardian with them at all times. Children 11-14 must have a signed permission slip on file to use the computers without adult supervision.

Parents who sign permission slips are assuming responsibility for their children’s use of the Internet. Parents may restrict their children’s access to the Internet by not signing a permission slip.

The library’s Internet computers are filtered, by state and federal law.
