July 30, 6:30 p.m. Betsy Lewis, a Newberry area resident, will present "Agate Hunting 101." For ages 8 and up. Ages 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Aug. 6, 4:30-6 p.m. Friends of Bayliss Library Book Sale Pre-Sale for Friends' members. You may join on the spot for $10/year member dues.
Aug. 7, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friends of Bayliss Library Gently Used Book Sale, support your library and find some great reading material.

Aug. 8, 10 a.m.-noon 110th Birthday Party and Book Signing with Bernie Arbic, Ken Hatfield, and Dave Bigelow signing the library's history book (for sale at reduced price of $4) . They will also have other items for sale. Birthday cake provided.

Aug. 15, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Antique and Collectible Appraisal Event with Mark Moran from Wisconsin. Space is limited. Sign up in advance and pay $10 per item to be appraised. Check at Circulation Desk.
Aug. 18, 7 p.m. Chippewa County Genealogical Society, Beth Overly will speak about "Mollie and Me (using the grieving process to write family history)."
