Our Mission

The mission of the Ironwood Carnegie Library is to strive to provide equitable access to materials and services which support the educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of the entire community.

 

Library Cards

Residents of the City of Ironwood, Ironwood Township and Erwin Township can obtain a card at no charge.  A valid driver's license or state ID card with the correct current address is needed at the time of registration.  See library card policy.

 

Borrowing Library Material

Books may be borrowed for a two week period, and may be renewed for an additional two week period up to three times unless the book is reserved...See  borrowing library material.

Fees

We offer a variety of resources and services to our community  See fees

 

Computer Use

Patrons in good standing can use one of our five public computers.  Wireless internet is also available at our library.

 

The Ironwood Carnegie Library is a member of the Superiorland Cooperative.

   Monday         9am-5:30pm

   Tuesday         9am-5:30pm

   Wednesday   1230-5:30pm

   Thursday         9am-7pm

   Friday            9am-5:30pm

   Saturday         9am-2pm

   Closed Sundays

         

 

Our Staff

Our staff consists of Elaine, Ken, Lynne, Hannah, Emilie, Quentin, and Caitlyn.   We are always available to help you access information, find a book, or answer questions about our collection, programs, and services.

Monthly board meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 3:30pm at the library.
